There would be four assessments in a year. Two Periodic tests, one half yearly and one Annual.
Periodic tests comprise 40 marks each and the other two 80 marks. End of the year, would be a compendium of 80 marks pen and paper test, average of the periodic test (5 marks), Note Book maintenance (5 marks) and SEA (5 marks) and portfolio (5 marks) totaling to 100 marks.
The Board Class/Std IX & X would have three Periodic test soon after that X class will have 2 Pre Boards and 4 RVTs . Assessment of Pre-Primary 1 and 2 consists of three assessments per year.
The Time period will be announced well in advance.
