SRI VIDYA SECONDARY SCHOOL, managed by Ekalavya Vidya Samithi was established in 1975 .the school is recognized by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Right from its inception SRI VIDYA has been rededicating itself with a primary objective to imparting quality education through technology based teaching which depicts an innovative methodology that aims at transforming teaching and learning techniques from traditional, monotonous and industrious method of approach to a very lively, interactive and intuitive kind for a cumulative benefit of the student and the teachers, in a creative and modern way in an informal and homely habitat.
The objective of the school is to inspire and empower the children to bring out their innate potential and produce splendid educators for the modern society of future.
Sri Vidya is one among very few schools in Hyderabad that got CBSE affiliation in the year 1981. The school has acquired the distinction of achieving 100% results through efforts of its dedicated staff who have been laying firm foundations in the pupil so as to enable them to take prestigious engineering ,medical and other professional courses .the school has occupied a significant position as one of the best institution in the state.

The school situated in Tilak nagar, New Nallakunta,Hyderabad is the cynosure of the twin cities, it offers A Good Play Ground ,A Well Stocked Library, A Science Laboratory, A Sound Computer Lab And Offers Co-Curricular Activities Like Dance, Music Art And Craft, Indoor And Outdoor Games Etc, Field Trips, Excursions, Clubs And Literary Activities from a part of the wholesome education imparted to the students.
The school imparts education from nursery to class X through English medium.

PRE-PRIMARY SECTION
This unit imparts education from nursery to class III .the educational concepts for these classes are taught through play and activities .the unit is well equipped with innovative play materials drawn and adopted from Kindergarten and Montessori systems of education.
HIGH-SCHOOL SECTIONS
The curriculum for the class IV to X is carefully drawn up according to the pattern designed by the central board of secondary education .teaching methods include projects and group activities ,computer projects and group activities, computer associated learning and video films support the classroom teaching.
The school offers institutional coaching as a regular part of school work for all the students.
EXAMINATION PATTERN
The school conducts 2 Mid Term & 2 Terminal Examinations as per the new examination pattern introduced by the CBSE.
Students will be assessed in curricular subjects, assignments, project work along with their physical development and participation in co-curricular activities .the report book issued to each student at the end of the year will contain Part I scholastic area, Part II co-scholastic areas.
SCHOOL ROUTINE
The school works from Monday to Saturday except on 4th Saturday, the working hours of the school are from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
The school has distinct uniform and all the children are required to wear it compulsory.
